The sort of location social media influencers come to get a stunning, picture postcard-perfect snap, it remains gorgeous, despite being tinged by tourism. Follow the footsteps down inside a giant hole in the ground and find turquoise waters ideal for swimming in. Myth (inaccurately, we’re afraid) has it that the 20m deep hole was formed by a meteorite. To maintain the area and to keep it clean, the sinkhole has been signposted as, and now located, in Hawiyat Najm Park, meaning "falling star".
