Qurum Beach

The most popular stretch of shore in the city
  • 1

Time Out Says

Probably Muscat's most accessible and popular beach stretches for about 4km of shore. It is no surprise that some premium hotels, including the Grand Hyatt and InterContinental have made this their home. Although private beach clubs share the stretch of sand you can turn up, drop a towel and spend entire days here. A few cafés and some watersports rental places and seating areas are offered. On the whole it is uncluttered, thanks to the long stretch, and can be walked, swam and explored. Little tidal change or surf makes it relatively safe.
