The Omani Society for Fine Arts (OSFA) is hosting a joint Indian and Omani exhibition later this week.
The showcase, which runs from September 25 to 28, will see a number of works from eminent artists in both countries, as well as pieces from Indian painters living in Oman and Indo-Omanis.
It is hoped the exhibition will “showcase the continued strong cultural linkages between India and Oman which go back to thousands of years”.
The Indian Embassy in Muscat organised the event alongside the OSFA, and is supported by the Indian Council for Cultural Relations and Indian Social Club.
Artists exhibited include Prakash Bal Joshi, Naila Al Mamari and Essa Al Mifragi.
The exhibition will be inaugurated on September 25 at 7.30pm.
