Where to find all the coronavirus testing centres in Oman

Eight coronavirus testing centres are set to open across Oman

There are four centres currently operating, located at the Muttrah Health Centre, Sablat Muttrah, Harat Al Shamal and in Hayy Al Mina. Another is set to open at the Hassan bin Thabit School, reports the Oman Observer.

There are also plans to open three more centres in Sohar, Nizwa, and Salalah. These will become operational when they procure the chemicals needed to conduct coronavirus testing, reports the Times of Oman.

Each of the centres will be open between 9am and 1pm for testing.

The news comes after it was announced that the Governorate of Muscat would be locked down until next week in a bid to stop the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19).

The government has been taking a number of precautionary measures in recent weeks, restricting travel between the governorates and closing shops temporarily
