Oman’s coronavirus app is now tracking cases by wilayat rather than by governorate, the Ministry of Health has announced.
Tarassud, which is available on iOS and Android, was launched earlier this month.
The app keeps track of infection and recovery statistics across Oman, and publishes Ministry of Health data and decisions related to COVID-19.
There is also a chatbot for any inquiries you have, and you can self-report symptoms using the app.
You can also keep track of cases on the COVID-19 section of the Ministry of Health website here.
Oman has taken a number of precautionary measures to prevent the spread of coronavirus, including implementing lockdowns in areas where there is a high number of infected patients.
Muscat is under lockdown until May 8, and access to the market area near the state hospital in the wilayat of Jalan Bani Bu Ali has been shut off until further notice.
