Almost 50 kinds of stores can now operate

Oman government gives green light for some shops to reopen

Oman's Supreme Committee dealing with COVID-19 has announced that moer shops can reopen.

The only places that the shops cannot reopen are in Wilayat Muttrah and Al Wadi Al Kabir Industrial area and inside shopping malls.

The kind of shops that can reopen are below. All must adhere to social distancing measures and precautions.

Inspections will be carried out and fines imposed for anyone not complying.
