The Muscat Municipality urges drivers and parking users to rely on electronic channels including:
Text messages
Simply send an SMS to 90091 with your vehicle number, area code and the required number of minutes (ranging from three to 300 minutes). You’ll then receive a text message confirming your online parking ticket and if you wish to extend your parking time, just repeat the mentioned steps.
The Baladiyeti app
Muscat’s Baladiyeti app allows smartphone users to reach Muscat Municipality (MM) services anywhere, anytime. Via the app, you can book parking by hours, obtain parking permits and even pay any pending fines.
Muscat Municipality website
Head to www.mm.gov.om to pay for parking, renew permits and pay or enquire about fines.
