Turkish restaurant reopens at Al Bustan Palace

The Al Bustan Palace, a Ritz-Carlton Hotel will be reopening its pop-up Turkish restaurant permanently after the spot proved to be a knock-out success.

Signature dishes at Turkuaz include yaprak sarma, vine leaves stuffed with cinnamon, pine nuts, blackcurrants and rice, and kasarli, a traditional flat-bread with a special cheese blend.

For dessert, you can grab kunafa, crispy kadaif dough with a cheese filling, and Baklava.

The restaurant will be led by Chef Mustafa Onder, who has organised a new lunch and dinner menu for the reopening.

Turkuaz will be open from noon until 3pm for lunch, and from 6pm until 11pm for dinner.

Eric Meloche, director of food and beverage and culinary at the hotel, said: “People around the world flock to Turkey specially to try out the gorgeous cuisine, which gets its inspiration from so many diverse cultures.

“We have worked hard on our menu to bring this eclectic spirit to Oman, and we’re sure that both Turkish food fans and newcomers to the fare will be impressed with our assortment of the classics, with a contemporary kick.”
Open Tue-Sat noon-3pm, 6pm-11pm. Al Bustan (2476 4444).
