Air India to resume international flights from Muscat in June

Air India is set to resume international flights in June, it has been announced.

The airline has stopped all flights in response to the coronavirus pandemic, with domestic flights beginning again from May 4.

Air India currently operates flights between Muscat and several major Indian cities including Mumbai, Delhi, Chennai. Air India Express also operates from Salalah airport.

The airline said in a statement on its website, “In light of the ongoing global health concerns, we have currently stopped accepting bookings on all domestic flights for travel until 03 May 2020, and on all international flights for travel until 31 May 2020.

“Bookings for select domestic flights for travel from 04 May 2020 and for international flights for travel from 01 June 2020 onwards are open.

“The situation is being constantly reviewed and we shall keep you updated.”
